Max Text Print is a browser tool that calculates the largest font size that fits the entered text inside the selected A4 margins. It can fit the whole input on one sheet or split it by blank lines, individual lines, or individual characters, fitting each generated page independently. Start by fitting the whole message on one page
For a short notice or a single message, start with the one-page mode. The app calculates the largest font size that keeps the entire input inside the selected safe margins, considering both width and height. Longer text becomes smaller automatically, while shorter text can grow larger.
You can also adjust bold, alignment, text color, background color, line spacing, letter spacing, and outline. Fonts come from the device's installed system fonts, so line breaks and the maximum fitted size can vary slightly between devices.
Use page splitting when you need several signs
When preparing several notices at once, you can split the input on blank lines, by individual lines, or by individual characters. For example, entering “Reception,” “Room A,” and “Room B” on separate lines and choosing line-by-line mode creates a separate A4 page for each line and fits each page independently. A short line does not have to inherit the smaller size required by a longer one.
Character mode is useful when individual sheets will be placed side by side or need to be readable from a distance. Each non-space character becomes one page, with a maximum of 200 generated pages per job. On supported browsers, character segmentation avoids unnecessarily splitting combined characters or emoji.
Choose margins and orientation with the real printer in mind
Margins can be set to 10 mm, 5 mm, 0 mm, or a custom value. Narrower margins allow larger text, but selecting 0 mm does not make a printer physically capable of borderless output. If reliable output on a typical printer is more important than maximum size, start with the default 10 mm margin.
Orientation can be portrait, landscape, or auto. Auto evaluates the generated pages in both orientations and selects one orientation for the entire print job. Mixed portrait and landscape pages are not supported within one job, so review all pages when their text shapes differ significantly.
Use the browser print dialog for the final check
Pressing Print sends all generated pages to the standard browser/OS print dialog in one job. This is where you confirm the actual printer, paper settings, and scaling. If the result looks smaller than expected, check whether print scaling is set to 100%.
Background colors may not print unless the browser or operating system has an option such as “background graphics” enabled. If you want a file instead of paper, environments with PDF output in the print dialog can use Save as PDF. Max Text Print does not generate a PDF directly; it relies on the standard printing system.
