You may need to turn documents photographed with a smartphone or saved screenshots into a PDF for submission. When there are several images, combining them into one PDF is usually easier to review than sending each image separately.

For example, if you have cover.jpg, application.png, attachment-1.jpg, and attachment-2.jpg, combining them into one PDF preserves the intended page order for saving and sharing.

Browser Kitty's PDF Organizer can load JPG, PNG, and WebP images, let you reorder them, and save them as one PDF. Image loading, preview, and PDF creation run in the browser.

What to check before turning images into a PDF

Before converting images to PDF, check the page order, how each image should be placed on its page, and whether any unnecessary images are included.

With multiple images, filename order does not always match the order you want in the final PDF. Reviewing thumbnails and arranging them before saving helps prevent mistakes.

  • Page order
  • How each image should fit on the page
  • Whether any unnecessary images are included

Combine multiple images into one PDF

PDF Organizer does not require you to make a separate PDF for each image. For example, five receipt photos can be added together, ordered by month, and saved directly as one PDF.

The same approach works when you photograph a multi-page document one page at a time. Arrange the pages correctly first so the recipient can read one file from beginning to end.

The difference between Fit, Fill, and Original Size

After adding an image, you can choose how it is placed on the PDF page. If you are unsure, start with Fit and confirm that the entire image is visible.

  • Fit: Keeps the entire image inside an A4 page. It is useful when you do not want to crop the edges. Portrait images use portrait A4 and landscape images use landscape A4 as the basis.
  • Fill: Makes the image cover the A4 page. This reduces margins, but when the aspect ratios differ, overflow is cropped from the center.
  • Original Size: Does not force the image onto A4. The PDF page follows the image size, so page sizes can differ between images.

JPG and PNG images can be mixed in the same PDF

You do not need to convert every image to the same format first. JPG and PNG files can be mixed in the same list and saved together as one PDF. WebP images are also supported.

Because PDF does not have a common native way to embed WebP directly, PDF Organizer converts WebP locally to PNG or JPEG before placing it into the PDF.

Combine images with an existing PDF

PDF Organizer can add existing PDFs as well as images. For example, you can place an application PDF first, then an ID image and an attachment image, and save the whole sequence as one PDF.

You do not need to convert each image into a separate PDF before merging. PowerPoint (PPTX) slides can also be added to the same list.

Converting to PDF does not necessarily make the file smaller

Combining images into a PDF and reducing file size are different tasks. A PDF made from several high-resolution photos can still be large, especially because smartphone photos may contain far more pixels than their on-screen display suggests.

If the destination has a file-size limit, resize or optimize the images before combining them. Do not assume that converting to PDF will automatically compress them substantially; check the saved file size as well.

Check image order before saving

When converting several images, check for page-order mistakes. Filenames such as page1.jpg, page2.jpg, and page10.jpg can appear in an unexpected order in some applications.

PDF Organizer lets you move thumbnail cards while looking at the actual content instead of relying only on filenames. Review the order from beginning to end before saving.

The images are not uploaded to Browser Kitty

Browser Kitty's PDF Organizer loads, previews, reorders, and converts the selected PDFs and images inside the browser. It does not upload those selected files to a Browser Kitty server for PDF processing.

That makes it usable for application forms, receipts, internal documents, and similar files. The hosted version still needs normal network access to load the app itself, but the selected files are not sent away for the conversion.

When this workflow is useful

This is useful when you need to submit several photographed document pages or turn multiple screenshots into one file.

  • Combine receipt photos by month
  • Turn handwritten notes into an ordered PDF
  • Combine a set of mixed JPG and PNG files
  • Append photos to an existing PDF
  • Collect several images into a file that is easier to print

How to convert JPG and PNG images to PDF

  1. Open Browser Kitty's PDF Organizer.
  2. Select the JPG, PNG, or WebP images you want to turn into a PDF, or drag and drop them onto the page. You can add several images at once.
  3. After loading, each image appears as a page card in the list.
  4. Drag the cards into the order you want for page 1, page 2, page 3, and so on.
  5. Delete unnecessary images, rotate incorrectly oriented images in 90-degree steps, and check Fit / Fill / Original Size when needed.
  6. Enter an output filename and save. The ordered images are exported as one PDF.

Tips and limitations

  • If you do not want image edges cropped, start with Fit and confirm that the entire image is visible.
  • Converting to PDF does not guarantee a smaller file, so check the saved size when the destination has a limit.
  • Keep the original images and review page order and visual quality in the saved PDF.
  • Large batches of high-resolution images can use substantial device memory.

Frequently asked questions

Can I combine multiple JPG files into one PDF?

Yes. Add multiple JPG files, reorder the page cards, and save them together as one PDF.

Can PNG images be converted to PDF?

Yes. JPG, PNG, and WebP images are supported.

Can JPG and PNG images be placed in the same PDF?

Yes. The image formats do not need to match.

Can I change the image order?

Yes. Drag the thumbnail cards into the order you want in the PDF.

Can portrait and landscape images be mixed?

Yes. Each image can be rotated, and Fit uses portrait or landscape A4 according to the image orientation.

Can I place images on A4 PDF pages?

Yes. Fit keeps the whole image inside A4, while Fill makes it cover the A4 page.

Does converting images to PDF reduce image quality?

Processing depends on the image format and placement. WebP is converted locally to PNG or JPEG before being embedded in the PDF. Keep the originals and check the saved PDF for readability and visual quality.

Can I use it on a smartphone?

Yes. On a smartphone, briefly hold a card before dragging it to reorder the pages.

Are the images sent to a server?

No. PDF Organizer loads the selected images and creates the PDF in the browser. It does not send those images to a Browser Kitty server for PDF processing.
