Print numbered tickets together on A4 paper, register the distributed numbers in the waiting queue, and call them in order from the counter.
You do not need a ticket machine or an account. This approach fits small events and temporary reception desks that want to manage ticketing and calls from one PC.
Print numbered tickets on A4 paper
Open Queue Board and use the printer button at the top of the screen to open the ticket-printing view.
Set the starting and ending numbers, then adjust the title and number of digits if needed. Choose A4 or Letter paper and place one to twenty tickets on each page.
For example, to prepare tickets 1 through 50, set Start to “1” and End to “50.”
Check the placement in the print preview, then use the browser's print function. Dotted lines on the tickets also indicate where to cut.
You can create up to 1,000 numbered tickets in a single print job.
Start reception using the printed ticket numbers
Once the tickets are ready, set the starting number and number of counters on the reception screen. You can use up to four counters.
If the first printed ticket is number 1, set the reception starting number to “1” as well.
Start reception, then select Issue number each time you hand out a ticket. Numbers enter the queue in order, and you can see how many people are currently waiting.
You can also enter a number manually when someone already has a printed ticket.
Even if you print fifty tickets in advance, you do not need to register fifty people immediately. Adding only the numbers you have actually distributed keeps the waiting count meaningful.
When using automatic issue together with manual entry, be careful not to duplicate numbers.
Call people in order using Call next
Select Call next at a counter that is ready to serve someone. The first waiting number is then assigned to that counter.
Choose Call again if you need to repeat the announcement, or Complete when service has finished.
Even when multiple counters are in use, the app prevents the same waiting number from being called by separate counters at the same time.
If someone does not come when called, mark the number Absent. It remains in the list and can be moved to the end of the waiting queue to be called again later.
Show large called numbers on a waiting-room display
Choose Open display to open a window that shows the called numbers in large text.
If the PC is connected to an external monitor, you can move that window to the waiting-room screen. The staff member controls the queue on the original screen while visitors see the called numbers.
However, the display only synchronizes within the same browser environment.
You cannot operate the queue on a smartphone and automatically show the numbers on a separate PC or tablet.
Save reception history as CSV
On the History screen, you can review each number's issuance, calls, completion, and absence records.
Save either all records or the currently filtered results as CSV. After ending reception, you can still export the complete history from the summary screen.
Active reception is automatically saved in the browser, so you can normally continue after a page reload.
However, clearing the browser's site data or other storage issues may prevent recovery. If you need the records later, save a CSV when reception ends.
What to check before using Queue Board
You can print the tickets on ordinary paper, but margins and scaling depend on your browser and printer. Print a test page before the event to check text size and where to cut.
Queue Board is designed for small reception desks operating on one device. It is intended for roughly 1,000 tickets per session, and does not support cross-device cloud synchronization, online reservations, or call notifications by SMS or email.
Numbers and reception history are processed in the browser, and the app has no mechanism to send reception data to an external server.
It is a practical way to manage a temporary paper-ticket queue without setting up a larger reception system.
